Nothing funny/wild to share
I'm on my winter break
i upgraded my home network recently
NOW WITH 802.11ax(w/o 6GHz tho) and OpenWRT
Xiaomi Router AX1500 + NanoPi R2S(RK3328 + 1GB DDR4, basically a huge overkill...)
RK3328 is super freaking hot tbh, its fine on my R2S w/Aluminum enclosure(53 Celsius on standby is actually not that good...)
But on my NanoPi NEO3 with a flimsy heatsink with no fan is a different story, tl;dr: it went to 90cel when barely doing anything

but now everything went a lot more smoother, even for LAN
it turns out that the old router's ethernet switch is only running at 100Mbps for some reason...
Everything is on GbE now
thinking about starting a PXE server tbh... but most of my devices here only got WiFi(aka modern laptops) and those which can use PXE dont really need that: How often does u reinstall your server's OS?
and fuck... i failed to pass some subject this term... hope it wont be a big trouble
